"So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another."
(Rom 12:5)
We live in a world that is increasingly disjointed and disconnected. People feel lonely even when standing in a crowd. Technology connects us like never before, but we have never felt more isolated and alone. No one seems to care anymore---but nothing could be further from the truth!
Our Savior, Jesus Christ, cares about you and so do we! He has called all of us together in the Faith and He has made us members of His Body, the Church. St Paul said, "So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another." At Pillars of Orthodoxy Church we are all in the same boat. Life is a struggle---no doubt about it! But by helping each other through prayer and encouragement, we lift one another up in Christ. We stand together in our Savior's love which overflows in love for one another. We live one day at a time in God's mercy and Grace.
